Mr. Wielkopolski is a patent attorney with three years of experience handling patent litigation before the Eastern District of Texas, the Federal Circuit and the International Trade Commission. In addition to patent litigation and ITC investigations, he also conducts pre-litigation due diligence.
His duties have included performing patent infringement analyses, drafting pleadings, motions and other filings, managing discovery, preparing and defending corporate representatives in 30(b)(6) depositions, and advising clients on the above issues. In addition to litigation, Mr. Wielkopolski has also advised clients on software licensing compliance, including providing on-site training regarding patent and copyright licensing in the software context.
Prior to joining RuyakCherian LLP, Mr. Wielkopolski was an associate with Urrabazo Law P.C., where he represented co-plaintiff Science Applications International Corporation in VirnetX Inc. v. Cisco Systems, Inc. et al., VirnetX Inc. et al. v. Apple Inc. and VirnetX Inc. et al. v. Microsoft Corporation.
