Washington, D.C. June 4, 2018... RuyakCherian LLP announced today that Martin F. Cunniff, a seasoned litigator with over thirty years of varied trial experience, has joined the firm as a partner in its Washington, D.C. office.

During his long litigation career, Cunniff has been at the forefront of several high-profile matters handling literally dozens of trials, arbitrations, and regulatory hearings throughout the United States and around the world involving industries such as telecommunications, satellite communications, digital music, software and broadcasting. He served as the lead trial counsel in the BCS Antitrust case which helped force a playoff system in college football; served as co-lead trial counsel in proceedings before the Copyright Royalty Board which set statutory royalty rates for digital music streaming and is currently involved in a high-profile international arbitration against the Government of Mexico under the NAFTA treaty.

Martin Cunniff is the co-editor of a leading treatise on damages and often teaches expert witnesses how to testify in court including serving as a visiting instructor at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA.
